I finally had time to check out some local trails this past weekend. Went with my cousin who’s visiting from Colorado, and let me tell you—Arizona sun doesn’t mess around! We did a quick hike near Lake Havasu and loved the views, but totally underestimated the heat and lack of shade. I’ve been trying to find more trails that aren't too exposed or even just shorter loops. While I was looking for trail options, I also came across this site listing Local Businesses Lake Havasu, AZ—super helpful for finding last-minute gear or a decent spot to grab cold drinks after. Anyone else have favorite trails that aren’t too brutal in the summer?
